Look behind you and you'll see me. Look beside you and i may have to run to keep pace but you'll see me.
When you fall, we all eventually do, but when you do and you feel someone catch you Look up and you'll see me
when you start to heal and you feel someone pushing you, encouraging you, and reminding you of what you use to be
Look over your shoulder and you'll see me pushing as hard as i can.
When the healing is done and you no longer have me pushing, no longer want my words of encouragement,
and no longer need me to remind you of what you where, look behind you though i may be slightly bent to where
i walk with a limp i will still be there.
When you've forgotten about what i have done, about how long i have been with you look behind you i may be faded but i am still there.
When your life is perfect and you don't need or think of me any more don't look back because i don't want you to see my dream
die as you find the perfect one to share your life with.
Please look back it's been so long since i have seen your face please look back,
I think I'm going to fall and you won't be there to catch me will you

I wrote this awhile back, when i realized that I had never thanked the person behind, beside, pushing, holding, encouraging, protecting, and above all else praying for me. and no I can't, i will never get to look back and see them, and stop and say thank you.
